Launching Our Wet Tropics Endemic Birding Tour
A small-group launch day exploring the Atherton Tablelands. Departing from Kuranda village.
What This Is
This is the inaugural run of our Wet Tropics birding day tour. It is not the premium international expedition product. It is a deliberately small, deliberately short day where we test the route, the pacing, the inclusions, and the framing before this rolls out as a full product for visiting birders.
You get a locals launch rate. We get the feedback we need to sharpen the tour. The group is capped at five. If you are local, early, or curious, this is the run to join.

Species We May Encounter
The fifteen Wet Tropics endemics. We will not see all of them in one day - no one does. The goal is to put you in front of as many as the conditions allow.

Your Guide
Clayton Smith
Wet Tropics naturalist. Twenty-plus years guiding in these rainforests. Cairns Tourism Award Finalist.
Clayton knows where the endemics are, how they behave across the seasons, and how to read conditions on any given morning. He is building this day tour out as a feeder product for the longer international expedition. Your experience on the pilot shapes what that product becomes.
The Fine Print
This is a pilot. We are running it to learn. Expect a short feedback chat at the end of the day. Your notes help shape the final product.
Phones off at sensitive sites. Some of the endemics we target are at sites that do not tolerate pressure. We will ask you to keep location details off social media.
Small group, fixed date. Maximum five guests. One departure per run.
