For tour operators

The premium Wet Tropics birding experience for your clients

Kingfisher Birding operates one tier of service: our premium two-guide model, delivered the same way whether the client comes to us directly or through a trade partner. This page sets out how we work.

How every Kingfisher Birding tour runs

One tier of service

Every multi-day tour operates as our full two-guide model.

Clayton (Lead Guide) with dedicated attention on the guests. Reading the forest, calling the birds, driving the field experience. Twenty years of Wet Tropics field experience, prior working history with Field Guides Inc as a Cairns-area guide.

Second guide (David or Les depending on brief) alongside. Handling the vehicle, spotting ahead, managing logistics so Clayton's focus never breaks.

Every multi-day tour runs on our full two-guide model with a maximum of four guests. Sole-use charters are available on request.

This is the product your clients receive, whether they book direct or through you.

Named guides and support team

People on the ground

All Kingfisher Birding tours operate as Kingfisher Birding-branded experiences with our named team. Clayton (Lead Guide) is in the field on every multi-day tour, with David or Les alongside as second guide depending on the brief. David handles trade and operations.

Your client experience runs end-to-end under our brand and operating standards.
